There are a wide verity of crafts and lots of people who just enjoy the craft for it's own sake.
But being skilled at some kind of craft, also provides an opporttunity to sell the finished item for cash
What kinds of crafts are there?
Here is a short list

Designing & making Jewellery
This is just a few of the most popular crafts, there are probably a lot more, I will update when I discover any others, but this list will suffice for now.
For the question now is how do you turn your talent of producing any item of craft work into cash?
Answer: You first need to make sure whatever you make is a high quality, then you need to advertise, such as Craig's List or eBay
You can also write about your craftwork on any blog you have, Don't forget to include a link to any item on sale wherever you have it listed.
